It is with a heavy heart that we inform the community of the passing of our founding President of the Board of Directors of Bay Aristocrat Village, Al Millard.  It is without a doubt that the BAV community which we so love and enjoy is a direct result of Al's efforts.  As Al said in his speech at the 25th anniversary celebration of BAV's founding, "I think I've been in every kitchen in the park" in an effort to get everyone to buy shares.  A candlelight ceremony was held at the Millard's home with a huge turnout.  Jackie & Al Jr. were very touched by the words by Pete Petersen and the many residents who came by to pay respects. This was exactly the idea of community that Al believed in so strongly.
