Fining Committee

The operating aspects of BAV are conducted primarily within our Rules and Regulations which reflect our governing documents and Florida state laws.  These rules are fundamental to ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for residents and their guests.

 

Unfortunately, on occasion a resident may conduct an activity that is in violation of our rules.  In this case the office will contact the resident to ask them to remediate their violation.   If the resident fails to act upon their violation the Fining Committee will meet to review the situation and determine if a fine should be levied in accordance with Florida state law.

 

The Fining Committee will then present their recommendation to the Board for action.  The Fining Committee cannot fine a resident directly, only the Board can.
